The mission of the Pompeo Foundation is to advance the same principles that guided 70th Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's vision of American foreign policy: Putting America First, requiring reciprocity, and promoting peace through strength.

China

There is no greater challenge facing the United States than that which is posed by the Chinese Communist Party. The Pompeo Foundation’s mission is to advocate for vigilance at home to counter the CCP’s malign activities, a practical foreign policy abroad that puts the American people first in our relationship with the CCP, and a model of deterrence that keeps the American people and our allies safe.

International Religious Freedom

America’s Founders recognized the centrality of religious freedom to a free society. Whether it is highlighting the Chinese Communist Party’s genocide and crimes against humanity in Xinjiang against Uyghurs or defending Christian communities that are persecuted around the world, the Pompeo Foundation’s mission is to advocate for a foreign policy that treats religious freedom as a central and foundational issue.

Israel

Israel has a right to exist and is the rightful homeland of the Jewish people. The Pompeo Foundation’s mission is to advocate for a set of policies that support Israel, champion its right to exist, and advance the shared vision of peace and prosperity embodied in the Abraham Accords.

Peace Through Strength

China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea share an ambition to remake the world so that it more clearly reflects the values embraced by their regimes – rather than those embraced by the Western world – and they are increasingly working together to make this ambition a reality. In the face of this threat, the Pompeo Foundation’s mission is to advocate for a policy of Peace through Strength, embodied in a global military and economic model of deterrence that is equally shared by the United States and our allies.
